Policies
Before Submission
Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to submission guidelines and Template of JABE for writing format and style (download template). This will ensure fast processing and publication.
Authors are allowed to submit the articles either in Bahasa or in English, however, the articles will be published in English. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guideline and template to authors will not be processed.
Author Guidelines
- The title must be capitalized for each word, bold, centered, limited to 12 words, using Times New Roman font size 14. In case of using more than one language, the non-native language must be italicized.
- Author information should include authors’ names without academic degrees, bold, Times New Roman font size 11, centered. The department, faculty, institution, country, and corresponding author’s email address must be provided and centered.
- The abstract should not exceed 250 words, single-spaced, using Times New Roman font size 10.
- Authors must provide abstracts in English.
- Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases.
Manuscript Structure
ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION
The introduction provides background for the study, the nature of the problem, and brief statistics (if available) regarding its significance. Authors should clearly state research objectives or hypotheses and explain the structure of the article.
LITERATURE REVIEW AND HYPOTHESES
This section explains relevant references and how the study contributes to the literature. Authors are encouraged to cite direct references and may include hypothesis development.
METHODS
This section explains how and why the study was conducted in a particular way. The methods should be sufficiently detailed and include only information available at the planning stage.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Results should be presented in a logical sequence through text, tables, and figures. Authors should discuss main findings, explore explanations, emphasize new contributions, and avoid repeating data already presented.
CONCLUSION
The conclusion briefly explains the goals of the study, avoids unsupported claims, and may propose new hypotheses clearly labeled.

Additional Formatting Rules
- At least 80% of references should be from the last ten years.
- Header should include author names and journal title (except title page), italicized, using Bodoni MT Condensed font size 12.
- Main text uses Times New Roman font size 11, single-spaced. Text in tables and figures uses font size 10.
- Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and include titles.
- Table titles appear above tables; figure titles appear below figures.
- Use ***, **, and * to indicate significance at 1%, 5%, and 10% levels respectively.
- Provide explanations for all variables within the table or table notes.
- Include a short italicized description (3–6 lines) below tables using font size 8.
