About This Journal

JPSE (Journal of Physical Science and Engineering) (e-ISSN: 2541-2485) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia. The journal was established in 2016 and is published twice a year (June and December). JPSE is dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality original research articles and comprehensive review papers in the broad domains of physical sciences and engineering. The journal serves as a platform for academics, researchers, and practitioners to share innovative findings, theoretical advancements, and applied research that contribute to the advancement of science and technology.

Aim and Scope

The scope of JPSE includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  • Physics: theoretical physics, computational physics, condensed matter physics, and applied physics
  • Materials Science: design, synthesis, characterization, and application of advanced materials
  • Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology: nanoscale fabrication, properties, and applications
  • Renewable and Sustainable Energy: solar cells, energy storage systems, and alternative energy technologies
  • Sensors and Instrumentation: development and application of physical, chemical, and biosensors
  • Interdisciplinary Engineering Applications: integration of physics and engineering for real-world problem solving

JPSE particularly encourages submissions that demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches, novel methodologies, and significant contributions to both fundamental understanding and practical applications. Studies integrating experimental, theoretical, and computational perspectives are highly welcomed.

The journal is committed to promoting scientific excellence and fostering global collaboration by publishing research that is relevant to both academic advancement and industrial innovation.
