JADECS (Journal of Art, Design, Education and Cultural Studies) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Art and Design Department of Universitas Negeri Malang This journal publishes articles on research, conceptual ideas, assessments, creations, and learning related to art, design, multimedia, and cultural studies. Articles published prioritize analysis of research results which include: studies or art practices, art education and learning experiences, or socio-cultural studies related to art, design, and multimedia. This journal publishes in Indonesian and English.

While the first edition in 2016 was published once in July, since 2017, this journal is published two times a year (April and November) consistently.  

This journal is indexed in DOAJ and nationally accredited (Rank 3, peringkat 3) as a scientific journal under the decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (valid until Vol. 9, No. 1, 2029).
