Aims & Scope
JADECS serves as a multidisciplinary forum for the exploration of art, design, and their pedagogical implications, with a strategic emphasis on the Indonesian cultural landscape. Recognizing the archipelago’s rich diversity, the journal prioritizes scholarship that situates creative practice within specific local, educational, and socio-cultural contexts.
While rooted in regional inquiry, we invite global contributions that offer innovative theoretical frameworks or design methodologies applicable to the Indonesian experience. We particularly value research that addresses contemporary challenges in visual culture, promotes inclusive art education, and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
