Abstract
Mount Bromo has the potential to be a Geological Heritage Site (Geosite) in learning Geography, but it is hampered by accessibility such as cost, risk, time, and other physical limitations. This study aims to develop and evaluate Web GIS Storymaps media for Geography learning. This research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The resulting product is “Edutourism Bromo Volcano”, a storymap-based learning media that can be accessed on various devices. The results of the evaluation showed that this media was “Very Feasible” by material and media experts, with a total score of 94%. In addition, the results of the trial with students showed an “Acceptable” usability level (SUS), with a score of 87.5. These results show that the GIS Web Storymap “Edutourism Bromo Volcano” is valid and worth using, as well as user-friendly because it is easy to understand and use. This research provides solutions in highly usable and engaging learning media, namely alternative geography field study activities, and provides learning experiences through geospatial technology.
