Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science and Technology (JMEST) is one of the journals managed and published by Universitas Negeri Malang. The journal is published twice a year (July and November). Some of the fields published by this journal include the following:
- Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Techniques, including composites, nanomaterials, and alloys and also innovative manufacturing processes: 3D printing, joining, and material modification techniques
- Energy Systems and Environmental Sustainability including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy practices: conversion, storage, and utilization of energy from various sources.
- Structural Analysis and Mechanical Systems Performance, including structural analysis, design, and performance of mechanical systems and components related to aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.

About Journal's Name
The Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science and Technology (JMEST) reflects its focus on advancing knowledge in mechanical engineering, particularly in areas such as advanced materials and manufacturing, energy systems and sustainability, structural analysis, and computational modeling. Journal History
The Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science and Technology (JMEST) was first published in 2017. It has been indexed by Google Scholar since January 2018 and by DOAJ since March 3, 2018. The journal is also accredited at rank 2 (Sinta 2) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (KEMENDIKBUD RISTEK) under decree No. 72/E/KPT/2024, covering publications from Volume 7 No. 1 (2023) to Volume 11 No. 2 (2027).
