Bentuk Hegemoni Kekuasaan dalam Tuturan ‘Jokowi’

Abstract

Critical discourse analysis sees language as an important factor is how the use of language to see the power imbalance that occurs in society. Based on this it can be said that basically discourse become an inseparable part of the process and mechanisms of power. The objectives of this study were: (1) determine the form of the discourse of power in Jokowi speech, (2) determine the function of the discourse of power in a speech Jokowi, and (3) know the power of discourse strategies in speech Jokowi. This study uses content analysis approach to be based on the theory of critical discourse analysis Norman Fairclough, which focuses on how the language becomes a means of achieving power.
