Abstract

This study aims at investigating the rhetorical pattern of research articles introductions in Islam-related research articles published in Indonesia. The data of this study are taken from journals acredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Highest Education of Indonesia (Kemenristek Dikti) and analyzed by using Swales CARS (2004) model.
