Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed Journal of ICSAR represents an essential contribution to the development of a coherent and respected body of knowledge. It reflects the quality of the authors’ work and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles uphold and embody the scientific method.
It is therefore important to establish clear standards of ethical behavior for all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, publishers, and affiliated institutions. Universitas Negeri Malang and the Department of Special Education, as the publishers of this journal, take their responsibilities seriously at all stages of the publication process.

Editorial Responsibilities
Publication Decisions
The editors are responsible for deciding which submitted manuscripts should be published. Decisions are based on the validity, significance, and originality of the work, as well as its relevance to the journal’s scope. Editors may consult with reviewers or other editors and must comply with legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Fair Play
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, editorial advisors, and the publisher.
Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the author’s explicit written consent.
