Aims & Scope
Jurnal Kajian Bimbingan dan Konseling provides a platform for research, practice, and theoretical development in guidance and counseling, with a primary focus on Indonesia, as reflected in its Indonesian title. The journal recognizes the diverse cultural, educational, and socio-emotional contexts of this region and aims to highlight research that deepens understanding of counseling practices within these settings.
While the journal prioritizes regionally grounded studies, it also welcomes contributions from other countries when their findings, approaches, or innovations offer meaningful insights that can inform counseling practice, policy, or professional development in Indonesia. International submissions are especially valued when they present models, evidence, or conceptual frameworks that Indonesian readers can adapt or learn from.
Jurnal Kajian Bimbingan dan Konseling encourages work that responds to contemporary educational and youth development challenges, advances context-responsive counseling practices, and supports wellbeing, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Studies that align with SDG-related priorities are also encouraged.

- Counseling practices, intervention models, and counselor–student engagement in school and community settings
- Socio-emotional learning, academic motivation, mental health literacy, and wellbeing
