Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping the character of students. One of the characters to be instilled by teachers is task commitment. However, what happens in the field, students have lack of responsibility in completing tasks. Task commitment identical with gifted academic children which is acceleration class students. Despite that commitment to duty is basically owned by everyone including regular students. The purpose of this study was to determine level of commitment differences of acceleration class students and regular class students. The method used is descriptive survey research. Data analysis technique used is Mann Whitney test. From the calculation results obtained t value of 0.009 < 0.05, so there is a difference between the commitment level of labor between acceleration class students and students’ regular classroom.
