Abstract
This study was carried out to produce a product in the form of teaching materials as well as products supporting teaching materials in the form groupsheet, photoviewer and learning scenarios to support cooperative learning-based scientific approach also investigated how it impacts the learning process in vocational programs ototronik engineering expertise throughout the city of Malang. This study uses the stages of R & D Borg & Gall to make a product, while researching the effect researchers used a quantitative approach to experimental research methods. The samples used were 66 students of class XI, consisting of 37 students as an experimental group and 29 students as a control group. Product validation phase carried out by seven lecturers of Mechanical Engineering, State University of Malang, 2 teachers SMKN 6 Malang Malang and SMK 10 and 25 students SMKN 6 and SMKN 10 Malang. Product testing conducted by some experts that consists of content expert, instructional design experts, media learning expert and small group trial. Based on product testing data obtained from experts such that learning products developed at the level of valid and fit for use as a learning product while in testing the effects of product usage in learning by the student data showed that the products developed significant effect on learning outcomes and effective for use.
