Abstract
This research aim is to show the effect of high temperature (30°C) on the expression of *D. melanogaster* traits and its use for learning resource in genetics lecture. This research was conducted in experimental design. Research result showed that high temperature could affect the fecundity and developmental time of *D. melanogaster* strains, including wildtype, white, and ebony. This result can be used as learning resource in genetics lecture, particularly in the basic competence 7.1: understanding regulation of gene expression in eukaryotes; and basic competence 13.1: understanding the application of some genetics theory through project research.
