Abstract

Indonesia is tropical country with high risk of tropical disease. Students need to develop life skills to cope that challenges. Therefore research to determine the effect of tropical diseases in problem-based learning on students' life skills need to be established. This experimental research was used nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were 66 high school students in Malang, 35 students as an experimental group and 31 students as a control group. Students' life skill was measured using test and data were analyzed using Anacova. The results showed that tropical disease problem-based learning significantly enhance students' life skills (p < 0.05).
