Abstract

The vision of the university always aims at Tridharma of University. One of the implementation of Tridharma of University is scientific work. To achieve the vision is needful of strategy. Purpose of this research is to describe the strategy of improving lecturer’s quality in writing scientific work. This research was descriptive qualitative approach. The results of this study indicates that: first, the institution has purposes in doing the strategy of improving lecturer’s ability in writing scientific work. Second, the implementation of strategy of improving lecturer’s ability writing scientific work contains of training, forming of lecturer scientific forum, the betterment of publication facility, funding the research and society submission, and giving the incentive as the appreciation. Third, there are motivation factor and obstacle in implementating the strategy.
