Abstract
This study aimed to describe the prophetic aesthetics of novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan by Tasaro G.K. as a source of character education. This study used a qualitative approach in the study of literary texts. The research found that the humanism aspect includes four sub aspects; they are strengthening activities (1) personality, (2) assertiveness, (3) socialization, and (4) spirituality. Liberaze aspects of the novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan includes freeing and liberating activity of political repression, freeing and liberating activity of state repression, freeing and liberating activity of economic injustice, and freeing and liberating activity of gender injustice. Trancendence aspects of the novel Muhammad: Lelaki Penggenggam Hujan includes khauf, raja’, tawakkal, qana’ah, syukur, and ikhlas. These three aspects are representing the components of good character, that moral knowledge, moral feeling, and moral action.
