Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the activity and learning outcomes IPS through SAVI approach by video learning. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. This research done by collaboration with the researcher and sixth grade teacher. The subject of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN I Sanan Girimarto in 2015/2016 academic year that consist of 14 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, interview, test, and fields note. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of learning activity in cycle I is 64, 29% (9 students) increase 85, 71% in cycle II (12 students). The percentage of learning outcomes in cycle I is 71, 43% (10 students) increase 45,72% in cycle II (12 students). Based on the research that have been implemented, it can bo concluded that improve the activity and learning outcomes used savi approach by video learning.
