Abstract
This research and development aims at producing critically and creative reading book text of expositions based on environmental issues for class X students with valid content criteria, coherent systematics, use of communicative language, and attractive appearance. This research method using 4D model (four D model). The results of the feasibility test of the teaching materials are divided into four aspects, namely the content content of 81.8% (feasible), 85.7% (very feasible) presentation system, 85.2% (very feasible) language, and 90.5% Feasible). Based on these results, the developed teaching material is considered very feasible to be implemented in the learning.
