Abstract
Education is an important element for undergraduate students to encourage a positive economic attitude. Basically, undergraduate students are not being a consumer only, but also are expected to be able to serve as a producer by processing a resources arround themselves maximally. Within this research, likert scale questionnaire is used as an instrument and tested in terms of validity and reliability in undergraduate students of Faculty of Economics Universitas Negeri Malang 2013. The sample of this study was 304 undergraduate students. The data analysis was conducted using SEM technique through Lisrel 8.80 program. The results indicated that economic education in the family has no influence upon the self-efficacy. Moreover, financial literacy does not influence to the self-efficacy and economic rationality influences self-efficacy. In addition, self-efficacy influences productive attitude of the students, economic education in family influences productive attitude of the students. However, economic education in family does not influence productive attitude through self-efficacy as well as financial literasi which does not influence productive attitude through self-efficacy. While economic rationality influneces productive attitude through self-efficacy.
