Abstract
This research based on the results of preliminary observations on the grade V in SDN Pagergunung 03 found students who demonstrate learning metacognitive knowledge. Students know the thought processes in completing the task and know the weaknesses in learning. The aims of this research describe metacognitive knowledge of students of grade V is associated with three aspects: knowledge of strategy, knowledge of tasks and self-knowledge. The results of this research show that the metacognitive knowledge of students of grade V SDN Pagergunung 03 good enough. This result is said normal due to its development will continue with age.
