Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the critical thinking and learning outcomes IPS through cooperative script by mind map. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Prigi in 2015/2016 academic year that consist of 13 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, test, and fields note. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of critical thinking in cycle I is 61,53% (8 students) increase 84,61% in cycle II (11 students). The percentage of learning outcomes affective in cycle I is 76,92% (10 students), cognitive 69,23% (9 siswa), increase in cycle II affective 92,30% (11 students), cognitive 86,41% (11 siswa). Based on the research that have been implemented, it can be concluded that improve the critical thinking and learning outcomes used cooperative script by mind map.
