Abstract

This research was to determine the effect of differences ARIAS combined mind map learning and ARIAS learning to cognitive learning outcomes grade VII SMPN 1 Tempunak. This research with quasy research experiment design approach with the design of pretest-posttest. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferensial to test the hypothesis that analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) using SPSS 23 for windows with a significance level of 0,05. The study was conducted at the grade VII SMPN 1 Tempunak with material ecosystem. The research sample consisted of three classes, namely two experimental class, the class of ARIAS combined mind map leraning, ARIAS learning and first class control. The result showed that there are differences in the effect of ARIAS combined mind map learning to cognitive student with sig. 0,000.
