Abstract
The purpose to be achieved in this research is to improve activities and students learning outcomes in subtheme the importance of their own health and the environment through the implementation of cooperative learning type of STAD. The approach applied in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subject in this research is student of class V SDN Mangunharjo 02. Collecting data in this research using observation and test. Data were analyzed using reduction data, data exposition, and make a conclusion. The result research is show that: (1) there is an increased learning activities from first cycle to second cycle by 14%, (2) there is an increase learning outcomes from first cycle to second cycle by 30%.
