Abstract

This study was conducted based on the results of a needs analysis derived from interviews and field observations, namely that schools require the development of instructional media on Subtheme: Nation Cultural Diversity. These constraints require solutions to problems so needed instructional media to facilitate student so that effective learning. The aim of research and development is to produce a decent (valid, interesting, practical) and effectively hand puppets media based DST on learning Subtheme: Nation Cultural Diversity for fourth graders of elementary school.This development used model Lee & Owens (2004). The results of the study are hand puppets media based DST decent and effective use in learning.
