Abstract

This study aimed to describe the particle’s as a discourse markers of teacher’s interaction speech of teaching and learning Indonesian Subject. This research was qualitative descriptive research with Miles and Hubberman flow design. This design the data analysis showed with some ollection steps like, reduction data included description and identification of variations particle form as discourse markers, data presented by encoding and converting the result into matriks form, the last step was deduction data and verification. The result of this study showed that the form of particle of vowels or word were not ussualy derivable or inflected, such as interjection, preposition and articles that appear in the teacher’s speech were e, ya, kan, and nah. It could be concluded that particles were used by teacher’s as a discourse markers in the learning interaction to give a signal for student to give messages to be delivered in the next step in speech unit.
