Abstract
A complex sentence is a sentence that has two or more clauses. Those clauses are associated with coordination or subordination markers. The complex sentences is used in composing a short strory especially the short story of fantasy. This research uses descriptive qualitatif method with syntactic analysis design. The results of the research was to bescribe complex sentence form. Based on the number of the closes, complex sentences are classsified by six types, namely (1) complex sentences of two clauses, (2) complex sentences of three clauses, (3) complex sentences of four clauses, (4) complex sentences five clauses, (5) complex sentences six clauses, and (6) complex sentences of seven clauses.
