Abstract
The development of reading fairy tales as the learning materials need a procedure that should be followed. A good procedure development will help to have a good product. It is good if it fulfill the requirements such as valid, interesting, systematic, and communicative. Those aspects are examined in several steps of procedure development. If the product has already those aspects, it can be examined by applying this in the class room using reading text of fairy tales as the interactive learning materials. The aim of this article is to describe the process of the interactive learning materials development at third grade, elementary school.
