Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of learning model RICOSRE (Reading, Identifying Problem, Constructing Solution, Solving Problem, Reviewing Problem Solving, and Extending Problem Solving) toward XIth grade students’ Biology cognitive learning outcomes in SMAN 4 and SMAN 10 Malang. This research type is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The sample used is the students in two classes each schools. Data collected in the form of pretest score and postes score. Data analysis using ancova technique and continued with LSD test that showed RICOSRE learning model significantly influenced the XIth grade students' learning outcomes with a corrected average of cognitive learning outcomes achievement is 26.9%.
