Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe students understanding related to work, heat and internal energy that is represented in P-V diagrams. Subjects consisted of 103 students who are undergraduate physics education, undergraduate physics and graduate physics education students at State University of Malang. The results show that students tend to interpret work as the state quantities and interpret internal energy and heat as process quantities.
