The pupose of this research is to describe the thinking barriers of high school students in solving angle problems in the three dimensions. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data obtained from student tes result in solving problems, interviews and scaffolding. Subjects in this study are high school students who have learned abaut the angle between the line with the plane in the three dimensions. The results showed that subjects 1 (S1) and subject 2 (S2) experienced obstacles in solving angle problems in the three dimensions. High-ability student thinking barriers occur at the stage of devising a plan implementing a carrying out plan and looking back due to lack of initial knowledge, lack of student analogy skills, and lack of connection ability students. While the low-ability student thinking impediment occurs in the stage of drafting a devising plan which continues in the step of carrying out the plan and looking back.
