Abstract
The research was aimed to know the increase in the average learning achievement of students' scientific literacy competencies in Senior High School. The research subjects in the experimental class and control class were 32 students and 28 students respectively. Sampling is done by a random system. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design and the increase in mean was measured by N-Gain. The results showed that there were significant differences in the mean in both classes. The average increase in the experimental class was 0.41 which was classified into the medium category and the control class was 0.23 in the low category. These results prove that the use of STEM integrated teaching materials can improve scientific literacy competencies.
