Abstract
This research was aimed to produce a product in the form of the children's story-shaped textbook comes with a crossword puzzle game are equipped valid, interesting, practical, and effective used in supporting the learning process. Development stage using Dick and Carey development model (2009) which consist of ten stages. The result of validation and experiments conducted resulted the data as, (a) the validation result by the experts reached the percentage of 84.33% with very valid criterion, (b) small group trial result with percentage of 98.61% with very interesting criterion, (c) ) the result of the field trial obtained 99.5% percentage with very practical criteria, and (d) the effectiveness test showed a significant increase in the difference between pretest and posttest score after use of the product.
