Abstract
This research was aimed to produce textbook IPS based on images. IPS textbook can be used as a one learning resources in the learning process. Textbook product is developed based on the steps of Dick and Carey model with ten stages development. Based on validity and trials result, showed (a) students book validity result reaches 80.62% with valid criteria; (b) students book attractiveness result reach 88% with very interesting criteria; (c) the students and teachers book practicality reach 89,5% with very practise; (d) the effectivity outcome that student learning really significant that doing by comparing pretest and posttest result.
