Abstract

Culture is one of the important factors in the counseling process. An understanding of the counselee culture will help the counselor to better know and understand the counselee. This research was aimed to develop counseling guidelines with the contents of Sasak cultural values used to assist counselors in East Lombok. The development method used is Borg & Gall method. Based on the results of trials by three experts judgement, namely learning media experts, guidance and counseling experts, and cultural experts and three prospective product users, stated that the Person-Centered counseling guide with Sasak cultural values fulfills the aspects of product feasibility and acceptance based on theoretical and practical aspects.
