Abstract

Reading-writing can be used as a tool to deepen and master the subject matter to achieve the competencies set. The learning experience answers the challenges of learning in the 21st century because it conditions students to develop their thinking skills. Reading-writing should be synergized for all subjects to support learning across the curriculum. The results of this study are presented in four major themes, namely (1) conceptual relationship of reading-writing and learning method, (2) principles of reading-writing utilization as learning method, (3) procedure of reading-writing utilization as learning method, (4) educational advantage of reading-writing utilization as a learning method.
