Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of gender on the creative thinking skills of senior high school students on Biology learning. The research design used is quantitative research. The population is all students of class XI IPA in SMA Negeri 1 Babat and SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring, Lamongan District. The sample is the students of class XI IPA-6, XI IPA-7 SMA Negeri 1 Babat and XI IPA-1, XI IPA-5 SMA Negeri 1 Kedungpring consisting of 51 male students and 77 female students. Based on data analysis result with single anakova test obtained F count the influence of gender to creative thinking skill of student is equal to 3,026 with p-count 0,084 > 0,05. These results indicate that H1 which reads that there is gender difference to students 'creative thinking skill is rejected, so it can be concluded that gender has no effect on students' creative thinking skill.
