Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of audio-visual media based example non example on the ability of critical thinking Student of Biology Education Studies Program STKIP Soe. This research uses experimental approach, by conducting trials in two experimental classes and group selection is done by purposive sampling. This study can also compare with Class A and Class B on pre- and posttest one-group pretest-treated conditions. Based on the Independent T-Test test of pretest and posttest value, t-count shows 5,185 with p <0.05 so it can be concluded that the difference of pretest and posttest value hence experiment class has significantly improvement compared to control class.
