Abstract

This study aims to investigate the constribution of exogenous and endogenous variables. This study is quantitative in nature ang employs structural equation model in analyzing the data. The population of this study are the ninth graders of both public and islamic senior high school in Batu (N=418). The selected sample are 104 students from three senior high school. Based on the results of the study, it reveals that the economics family education is significantly contributes to students’ consuming behavior, while the life style and individual modernity are insignificantly contribute to students’ consuming behaviors. The economics family education and life styles are insignificantly contribute to students’ economics literacy, while the individual modernity is significantly contribute to students’ economics literacy. Economics family education, life style, and individual modernity do not contribute significantly to students’ consuming behaviors through students economics literacy.
