Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe students’ mathematical representation ability in solving PISA test. Data were collected by using test instrument and interview. The test was tested to 31 students and one of them choosen as a research subjects and analyzied by qualitative descriptive technique. The research results are research subject works PISA test which given using by visual and simbolic representation and the lack of accuracy causing the research subject has not constructed a properly created visual and simbolic representation.
