Abstract
The purpose of this study is how to apply time banking in the interaction of brotherhood economy. This research uses action research (action reseach) that is research oriented to problem solving. That is done as much as 2 cycles. In this research, the procedure of action research is a cycle or recycling of spiral form which each step consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. This research uses qualitative approach of experiment to perform document analysis, observation, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Focus Group Interview (FGI). This activity changed the mindset of people who previously thought money was everything, now they are moreable to contemplate if money is not the only means to meet the needs. Today the existence of money is also very undeniable. But with this activity the community can find alternatives to meet the needs that do not necessarily have to use the money. In addition they are now more understanding if in Indonesia its economic system highly uphold Pancasila and Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, which at first they do not understand the economy as what should be applied in Indonesia.
