Abstract

This research describes the implementation of school literacy action in SDN 2 Sitirejo and SDN 4 Panggungrejo. Type of research used is qualitative approach to case study research design. Instruments used in this research are interview, observation, and documentation study guidences. The result of the research shows that the implementation of school literacy action in both of the schools has not been implemented optimally because it still has some inhibiting factors that are still less resolved so it does not have a positive impact on the passion of reading students, it is indicated from the less visible reading activity reading books by students while in school.
