Abstract

Basic Natural Science Course is a compulsory course in every Social Studies Program, so it needs the development of appropriate teaching materials and can be used in the long term. The characteristics of students in social studies programs are mostly graduates from the Vocational High School which is basic about the knowledge of Natural Science is still minimal, this condition requires the professor must be creative and innovative in preparing the teaching materials so that the specified competency standards are achieved. The development model used is Dick & Carrey's development model. The result of this development model is a valid teaching material.
