Abstract
The research purpose is to describe guided inquiry learning to improve students’ conceptual understanding and procedural fluency in trigonometry of X graders of senior high school. The research method used was Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 34 students of X graders of MIPA 1 SMAN 7 Malang. Guided inquiry learning results were obtained through stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification, and conclusion. The research can improve students’ conceptual understanding and procedural fluency which are indicated by students’score greater than or equal to 75 or 76% and average percentage improvement of final cycle test score based on conceptual understanding and procedural fluency indicator.
