Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of understanding concepts and science prosess skill between students who were thaught by environment-based guided inquiry learning model with students who were thaught by guided inquiry. This research used a quasi-experimental research with posttest only control group design. The sample of this research were student of Class VA as the experiment class and class VB as the control class. The instrument used to measure the success of this research were multiple choice questions to measure the understanding concepts while for the science process skill used multiple choice questions and observation. The result showed that there was difference in environment-based guided inquiry toward understanding concepts and there were no difference in environment-based guided inquiry toward science process skills on ecosystem teaching-material.
