Abstract
This study aimed to describe field independentstudent’creative thinking process in problem solving mathematics. The participants of this study were the eighth grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Malang. Fluency, flexibility, and originality are there are three indicators indicating creativity. Preparation, incubation, illumination, and verification are four creative thinking process by Graham Wallas. Those two will be discussed brifely ini this study from field independent students.
