Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of guided inquiry learning models on the understanding concepts of students. This research was conducted at SDK Sta. Maria Assumpta Kupang, NTT. The understanding concepts of the students about the properties of light is measured using multiple choices the questions. The results of the study show that understanding students' science concepts can be improved by using a guided inquiry learning model.
