Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of (1) Producing BIPA teaching materials: reading for beginners (A1) containing East Javanese culture. This study uses a research design using the Research and Development (R & D) development model which refers to the ADDIE development model consisting of 5 main steps, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Based on the research results, it was concluded (1) the results of the validation of the material experts obtained a validity value of 91% and were included in the valid and suitable criteria for learning, (2) the results of the design expert validation obtained a validity value of 96% and entered into valid criteria and suitable for learning (3) validation results Overall, the validity value is 94% and is included in the valid and suitable criteria for learning, (4) Practitioners' responses obtained a value of 94.00% and were declared feasible and accepted as teaching materials.
