Abstract
This development research aims to produce a project-based learning model by applying the design thinking method to improve students' critical thinking skills in chemistry subjects. This learning model has six stages, namely Empathy-Define-Project Determination, Ideate - Prototype - Develop Project Planning, Schedule Preparation, Project Completion-Test, Report Preparation and Presentation and Evaluation. This development research applies the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate) developed by Thiagarajan. The results showed that the learning model developed was feasible, namely valid, practical and effective so that it could be implemented in learning to improve students' critical thinking skills in chemistry subjects.
