Abstract
This study aims to describe social acceptance of students with special needs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. This research was carried out at SDN 1 Pesanggerahan. The techniques of collecting this data was through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that social acceptance from principals, class teachers, and regular students was at the level of acceptance. While the subject teachers are at the bargainning stage. The results also showed that there was some rejections of students with special needs, especially from parents of regular students and the surrounding community. Even so, students with special needs at this school felt well received.
