Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop a literacy zone in elementary schools among students of SDN Ngenep 1 grade V with a total of 26 students. This type of research is a research development with the procedural method of Borg and Gall which consists of ten steps. This study uses data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews and observations. The process of interpreting the collected data uses quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The study provides the results of an increase in the comfort of the learning environments of students with an average percentage increase of 15.8%.
